It's whats for lunch! Baby it's cold outside and it will be warm inside with this delicious homemade tomato soup and some fresh multi-grain bread.
HOMEMADE TOMATO SOUP

□ 4 tbsp. butter
□ 4 tbsp. flour
□ Green onion, cut up
□ 1 qt. fresh tomatoes, cut in pieces
□ 1/4 tsp. soda
□ 1 1/2 tsp. salt
□ 1/4 tsp. pepper
□ 2 c. milk
Saute butter, flour, and green onion in pan. In another pan heat tomatoes. When tomatoes are heated, add rest of ingredients along with the sauteed mixture. Bring to a boil and eat.
** I am substituting one cup milk for 1 cup chicken broth. I am also adding some finely chopped celery and carrots, because I happen to have them on hand.
